Michael Ballack's agent has hit out at suggestions that the Chelsea man was unable to join Real Madrid because of huge fees that would've gone to the agents.
Michael Becker (Ballack's agent), has said, "I have never spoken to Mr Mijatovic. It's inexplicable that he talks of supposed commissions as the only impediment for the transfer not to be carried out.
"It is true Real Madrid called me, but it was not Mr Mijatovic. I told them that Michael had a contract with Chelsea and recommended they speak with the London club as is the regulations for FIFA in contract matters.
"There were no negotiations with Real Madrid because Chelsea told them that Ballack was contracted and his desire was that he fulfilled it. These are the facts."
