Carlos Tevez to Man City

Carlos Tevez to Man City

03 June 2009 - 05:02

Man City is set to sign Carlos Tevez for £32m, unless Man Utd strike a deal today. Kia Joorabchian, Tevez's advisor, is to meet with Man Utd chief executive David Gill.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Tevez is rated £25m by Joorabchian and he has asked Man Utd to splash out that money to make his loan move permanent and sign the player. But, Man City has made an eleventh hour bid of £32m for the Argentine striker.

Man City boss, Mark Hughes, wants Tevez to team up with Robinho, Caceido, Steven Ireland and the newly signed Gareth Barry. Man CIty has Roque Santa Cruz in their shopping list.

Tevez had been offered a whopping £140,000-a-week wages which is too good to be true, but, something that is easily affordable by City's Arab owner.
