Arsenal's summer spending spree could be set to continue as there were reports from France this morning that Jeremy Toulalan is being lined up by Arsene Wenger to partner Cesc Fabregas in the Gunners' midfield.
It is understood that Wenger will offer as much as £15 million to bring the French international midfielder to the club.
Currently with Lyon, Jean-Michel Aulas, the Lyon chairman, has admitted that he will be forced to sell after a disappointing season that saw Bordeaux romp to the Ligue 1 title.
Toulalan is regarded as one of the best midfielders in Europe, and is desperate to try his hand in the Premiership sooner rather than later.
