Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in signing CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev as they prepare for a long-term replacement for Czech Republic international Petr Cech.

Akinfeev is regarded as one of the finest goalkeepers in Europe, but has as yet made a move away from Russia.



Chelsea are offering a stunning £15 million package to tempt CSKA into a sale.



It is believed that the keeper is happy to play in the Premiership and will be willing to discuss terms.
