Santa Cruz joins Man City

Mark Hughes has made another dip into the transfer market, after signing Roque Santa Cruz from Blackburn in a stunning £17 million deal this afternoon. Man City have now added the Paraguayan to their squad, which has already added Gareth Barry this summer.

Santa Cruz had been linked with a move away from Blackburn for a number of months, but a deal fell through during the January transfer window.



Now Man City have finally got their man in an estimated £17 million deal which will see City partner the forward with Brazilian starlet Robinho.
