Chelsea have been linked with one of the most shocking transfer moves of the summer, as boss Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly interested in landing Ruud van Nistelrooy from Real Madrid.

It is understood that Chelsea are ready to pay the £7 million fee that Real Madrid are looking for, and are keen to bring the Holland international to the club to pair with Nicolas Anelka for next season.
