Jerome Rothen to Blackburn

22 June 2009 - 21:56

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is set to make his first signing since the departure of talismanic striker Roque Santa Cruz, by making Jerome Rothen a Rovers player before the end of the month.

  • Chelsea star to miss FA Cup final with hamstring injury
  • Chelsea to move for Bendegúz Kovács?
  • Rothen, a pacey winger, currently plays at Paris St. Germain and has spent the majority of his career playing in Ligue 1 for the likes of Monaco.

Blackburn will offer £3 million for Rothen as they prepare to build a squad that will challenge for European football next year.

It is also understood that Hull City are monitoring the Frenchman.
