Tottenham are reportedly monitoring the progress of Colombian left back Pablo Armero, currently playing in Brazil for Palmeiras. The player is valued by his club in the region of £5 million.
Armero has already appeared for his national team many times, and is now the first choice left back for Colombia.
Tottenham are known to be very keen to sign the player, but aware there could be work permit issues. However, Spurs could appeal as they feel the player is likely to be a regular for his national team over the next two years.
Tottenham are desperate to land a left back, and have made Armero one of their top targets.
