Jonas Gutierrez could be given an olive branch and another chance to try his luck at Premiership football by Hull City. Phil Brown has told his board that he would like to make a bid for the player who had a very disappointing first year at Newcastle.
Whilst at Mallorca in La Liga, Gutierrez fast garnered a reputation for being one of the best attacking midfielders in the league. Such form prompted Newcastle to make a huge offer for the Argentinian.
Life was difficult at St James', though, and now Hull will make a bid for the player, believed to be in the region of £5 million.
