Arsenal are set to sign Serbian starlet, Veljko Batrovic, and have invited him for a trial. Batrovic is considered as one of the most exciting talents in Europe.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Arsenal are sticking with their policy of signing young players from all over the world, the latest to be added in their squad is Batrovic who plays for FK Bubamara. Latest reports suggest that Arsene Wenger is keen to sign the 15-year old attacker before he falls into the radar of AC Milan or Real Madrid.

Batrovic is compared to none other than Lionel Messi in his playing style. The striker is the youngest ever captain of Bubamara's youth side.

The club's chairman, Budom Miranovic, confirmed that the youngster is likely to sign for Arsenal.

“Nothing is specified, but it is almost certain that Veljko will soon become a member of Arsenal’s Academy,” said Miranovic.

The Serbian will travel to London next week to undergo trial at Arsenal. If it goes well, Wenger would strike a deal with the teenager.

Arsenal had recently offered trials and are set to sign young Brazilians which include attacking winger Wellington (Fluminense), wing-back Pedro Botelho (Figueirense) and centre back Luis Gustavo Conte (Mirassol).
