Francesco Totti has revealed that he is eyeing revenge after Roma's 7-1 pasting against Man Utd last year in the Champions League. Speaking about Roma's clash against Inter on Saturday in Serie A, Totti spoke jovially.
âIâd like to win both clashes,â Totti said, âbut should I have to choose, I prefer winning in Manchester.
âMore than Inter we think to Old Trafford, where last year we suffered a general disaster. That evening, I felt bad. We were sure to overcome the round and to join the semi-finals.â
Totti continued to state that his side are set to put their horror show from last season behind them, as they look to mount their challenge towards the competitionâs knock-out stages.
âI have a big will for revenge,â he stated.
âWe donât have to enter the ground thinking of what happened last season, otherwise we wonât be able to do good things this time too.â
