Arsenal midfielder Andrei Arshavin has a hunch that the Gunners will not be spending the cash this summer, despite claims that the Emirates side are ready to spend money in the transfer market.

Arshavin quipped: “I have a ¬feeling that Arsenal are not going to buy any new players in the winter transfer window.



“Or, if we do, it will be at the very last moment.”



Arsenal had been linked with a move for Bordeaux striker Chamakh.
