A spokesman for David Beckham has insisted that there will be no move back to England for the midfielder during the January transfer window. Sunderland and Everton have been keeping tabs on Beckham's situation at LA Galaxy.
The Daily Mirror reported on Tuesday that Black Cats boss Roy Keane was keen to tempt the former England captain to move to Wearside during the MLS' close season.
However, Beckham's spokesman said: "There will be no loan moves or short-term contracts. He is under contract to the Galaxy."
