Ben Foster stays at Man Utd

Ben Foster stays at Man Utd

16 January 2010 - 06:57

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that England goalkeeper Ben Foster will not be leaving Manchester United this summer, despite reports suggesting otherwise.

  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?
  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • There had been talk that Foster was looking to quit the club as he grew frustrated with his lack of opportunities at cementing his place in the Man Utd first team.

"There is absolutely no chance of loaning Ben out, absolutely none," Ferguson said.

"The World Cup is four months ahead. Let’s hope he gets some football that gives him a chance.

"It is Fabio’s decision but Ben’s qualities are going to put him forward as a definite choice and England are not endowed with great goalkeepers."
