Arsenal may now feel more inclined dip into the January transfer market as Arsene Wenger confirmed Denmark international forward Nicklas Bendtner has suffered a new injury.

Wenger confirmed a new injury: "It's another two weeks. I'm desperate to get him back but every week, it's two weeks unfortunately."



It is understood that Bendtner, still recovering from hernia surgery, has picked up a groin knock which will keep him out of action for a little longer.
