QPR in talks with Vialli

QPR in talks with Vialli

02 October 2007 - 19:46

QPR's new joint-owner Bernie Ecclestone has revealed the club are in sensational talks with Gianluca Vialli regarding the job of becoming their new manager.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The club are hoping to find a replacement for John Gregory in the next few days and hope Vialli would be a suitable replacement.

Ecclestone said: "I don't know whether Vialli is good or bad.

"Flavio knows him. He has been talking to him.

"From a coach you need someone who motivates all the players. The guy sitting there can't tell them what to do. They know to kick the ball in the goal. You don't have to tell them that unless they are really dumb.

"You want then to feel that they can win when they go out on the pitch. Chelsea played for Jose Mourinho. He commanded enormous respect."
