Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has ruled out talk that he will quit the club and move back to England to join Manchester City. There had been talk of an 90m GBP transfer to the Citizens.
Cristiano Ronaldo, despite excellent form this year at the Bernabeu, has been linked with a move away from the club.
The player has moved quickly to announce that this is not true.
"I'm not going to City," Ronaldo told the Cadena COPE radio station. "I give you my word I'm not going. Money is not the most important thing.
"If it was for money I could have double what I have. If it was for money I would leave.
"The most important thing is the behaviour of the people and they treat me tremendously here and I am very happy in Madrid."
