Arsenal star's value has fallen

17 June 2011 - 09:11

According to Sandro Rosell, the president of Barcelona, the value of Cesc Fabregas has fallen in comparison to last year, and has called on Arsenal to allow the Spanish midfielder to leave.

  • Nottingham Forest agree £45m deal to sign Chelsea striker
  • Fabregas has been lined up by his former club Barcelona as a potential successor for the ageing Xavi.

"If last summer we offered 40m euros (£35.1m) for Cesc, since then there has been wear and tear, now he's worth less," said Rosell.

"I don't know what will happen, but in the case that we were interested, we won't go mad and pay over the top."
