Arsenal star Eboue to join Lille?

Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue may be offered to Lille as part of a deal for Ivory Coast international winger Gervinho. It is understood that Arsene Wenger has told the player that he is free to leave the club.

Eboue has had a mixed time since his arrival at the Emirates, falling in and out of favour with the fans, but becoming a cult hero with the Gunners in the process.



The player is one of Wenger's favourite players at the club and is a favourite in the Arsenal dressing room.



However, with the pursuit of Gervinho finally coming to a close, it is understood that Lille have been offered cash plus Eboue.



The player is valued at around 6m by Arsenal.
