Redknapp rules out Defoe to Arsenal

Harry Redknapp has brushed off speculation that Jermaine Defoe would be heading to North London rivals Arsenal from current club Tottenham. According to a report on Sunday, Arsenal would bid 9m GBP for the striker.

However, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has moved swiftly to rule out talk of a transfer to the Emirates.



"I didn't see that," Redknapp said of the rumour. "I couldn't see that one happening."



Arsenal are on the look out for a new forward and have made Gervinho their number one target.
