Aston Villa winger Ashley Young is hours away from completing a move from Villa Park to Manchester United, according to a report. The England international will complete a 19m GBP move on Thursday evening.

Ashley Young's contract with Aston Villa expires in 2012, and rather than allow the player to leave on a free transfer then, it is understood that Alex McLeish has decided to cash in now.



Sir Alex Ferguson has been in discussions with the player and his representatives for over a week and a deal is nearing completion.



Young will be Man Utd's second major signing this summer after Phil Jones joined from Blackburn in a 16.5m deal.
