Liverpool ready Juan Mata offer

Liverpool ready Juan Mata offer

25 June 2011 - 05:25

Liverpool will wait until after the Under-21 final between Spain and Switzerland to make an offer for Juan Mata the Valencia left winger. Apparently Kenny Dalglish has been speaking with Valencia with regards to £15m move for the player.

  • Chelsea agree personal terms with Messinho
  • Arsenal goalkeeper expected to leave permanently

  • Juan Manuel Mata - who already has 11 caps for the full international team of Spain - is currently representing the under-21 side in the European championships.

A member of Real Madrid's youth side, the player then moved to Valencia where he became an important member of the first team.

However, the player's father has hinted that the player might well be on the move: "Until after the Euro, we won't listen to anybody. After that, we're willing to listen to all offers we receive. Interest Barcelona? From next Monday on, we'll analyze what is the best option for the future."

Barcelona are also interested in the 23 year old.
