Liverpool keen on Michel Bastos

Liverpool are amongst the clubs keen to sign Lyon midfielder Michel Bastos. The midfielder is also being chased by Tottenham, but Kenny Dalglish has reportedly been the first to make an offer for the player.

After missing out on Gael Clichy, it seems that Kenny Dalglish has turned his attentions to the player who is able to play on left midfield or in left back.

Capped 11 times by Brazil and scoring 2 goals, the player was named in the squad for the 2010 World Cup.

Bastos is valued by his club at around £9m.
