Arsenal are still in the race to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, despite Southampton boss Neil Adkins trying his very best to keep the England youth international at the club.
Arsenal have been linked with the winger for over half a year and have yet to make headway with Southampton regarding a transfer.
However, Saints boss Neil Adkins will try his very best to keep the player at the club: "I keep saying it, we have to control the controllables. Alex is a great player who worked very hard and excited the crowd. He came through our system and we are trying to do right by him and develop him and do right for the club... I like to think we are trying to control it in the right way."
