Erding won't make Newcastle move

Reported Newcastle target Mevlut Erding has not moved a step closer to a move to St. James' Park, as Paris St Germain boss Antoine Kombouare revealed that he was in his plans for the coming new season.

Kombouare has had lots of money to play with in the transfer market this summer since the arrival of Qatari businessmen as investors in PSG.

He has now decided that Erding is an important member of the first team and will stay at the club.

"Mevlut was in England only to play in the tournament," his agent Pierre Frelot said.

"He has not had discussions with Newcastle and he will not have discussions with Newcastle this weekend."
