Fulham keen on Aston Villa defender Luke Young

Fulham have made an approach for out of favour Aston Villa defender Luke Young, as they look to find a replacement for John Pantsil.

Aston Villa value the defender at around 2m GBP, and Fulham manager Martin Jol is ready to negotiate a price with Alex McLeish this week.

Fulham apparently still have around 9m GBP to spend on new players before the start of the new season.
