Premier League on Diego Forlan alert

A number of Premier League clubs are believed to be on high alert after Atletico Madrid's president announced that Diego Forlan could be leaving the club.

The Uruguayan international striker has told his club that he would like a move elsewhere; and several English sides such as Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly interested.

"At the moment we are not interested in selling Forlan, since we have already lost Aguero, but we are currently trying to buy Falcao from Porto," Atletico president Enrique Cerezo revealed.
