Liverpool misfit Aquilani's latest deal falls out
Liverpool misfit Alberto Aquilani has seen yet another move back to Serie A fall through; after Fiorentina would only take him on loan instead of a permanent transfer.
Aquilani is only interested in a permanent move and will stay put at Liverpool until one can be found.
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish had previously hinted that Aquilani may have a future at the club; with similar noises coming from the player himself. However, there is no doubt the Reds are trying to sell the Italian international.
"We agreed a loan deal with Liverpool for Aquilani, but he decided he only wanted a permanent transfer," said Fiorentina director Pantaleo Corvino.
