Tottenham close in on Benayoun move

Tottenham are moving closer to a move for Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun. It is believed that Spurs will pay 2.5m GBP for the Israeli international.

"I thought I will know by now what my future will hold .I'm in talks with chelsea and we will make a decision very soon. I will tell you soon," revealed Benayoun on his Twitter account.

Benayoun had been mentioned as a part of a Luka Modric deal that would see the Croatian move to Chelsea.

However, those discussions broke down, but it appears that a move for Benayoun is still very much possible.
