Arsenal boss looks for Gunners response
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is hoping his players can turn around their disappointing Premier League start to the season, starting with a win against Man Utd at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Arsenal have struggled so far this season in the Premier League after a draw with Newcastle and a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.
However, a 2-1 victory in Italy over Udinese saw the Gunners qualify for the group stages of the Champions League for the 14th consecutive year, and Arsene Wenger is hoping his team can continue this reverse of fortunes.
"I feel, since the start of the season, that we have a strong spirit and are highly determined," said Wenger to the official club website.
"The response we gave in the second half against Udinese gives us a lot of strength and credit. It convinces me that this team has the ability to respond. And of course there is another opportunity to do that against Manchester United on Sunday.
"They are definitely [still the team to beat]. For us to beat them would be a great boost and would put us in a great position. We did it at the end of last season and would like to do it again."
