Marvin Martin pens new Sochaux deal

Highly rated French midfielder Marvin Martin has signed a new deal with Sochaux, ending any potential interest in the player from Newcastle and Arsenal.

Newcastle, in particular, were linked with a move for the talented 23 year old, but failed to agree a fee with Sochaux for the player.

Subsequently, Martin has now decided to extend his current deal at the French side until 2015.
