Modibo Maiga back on Newcastle radar

Newcastle are yet again interested in a move for Sochaux striker Modibo Maiga, whilst Sunderland are also rumoured to be monitoring the forward.

Newcastle came very close to sealing a move, only for the deal to be called off at the final minute.

Sunderland now have been monitoring the striker.

Maiga scored two goals at the weekend in what, so far, has been an excellent season.
