Wolves salvage late draw against Swansea

Wolves left it very late to salvage a point at Molineux against relegation rivals Swansea. The Welsh side had eased into a 2-0 lead after goals from Danny Graham and Joe Allen; but Kevin Doyle and Jamie O'Hara rescued the point.

These two have both been battling away this year, surprisingly leaving Wolves at the bottom of the table and Swansea ahead of them.

Prior to the game, Swansea were expected to field an unchanged side, and Wolves recalled Sylvain Ebanks-Blake for the crunch tie.

Scott Sinclair had caused Wolves all sorts of problems all afternoon; and he had a hand in the assist for Swansea's opener, as he knocked the ball in for Gower, who sent through Danny Graham to score his 3rd goal in 3 games.

Swansea then doubled their lead, with a second goal coming from Joe Allen. Danny Graham knocked the ball in for Joe Allen, who then casually side footed the ball home underneath Hennessey in the Wolves goal.

Wolves left the field to a chorus of boos at half time, and Mick McCarthy would have had to make some serious changes at half time to ensure his team would came back into the game.

Swansea still had control of the game for much of the second half, and the game was not to spark into life until only six minutes remained on the clock.

Wolves needed the introduction of creative duo Nenad Milijas and Adlene Guedioura to ensure this game would be turned upside down.

Kevin Doyle pulled one back after his first drive had been saved by Vorm in the Swansea goal, and then with only four minutes remaining Kevin Doyle turned creator and planted the ball square for Jamie O'Hara, who drilled the ball home to rescue a point.
