Preview: Croatia vs. Israel

With 23 points on the board and three games left to play Croatia should cruise to qualification if they win against Israel. After a a 6-0 hammering of Andorra, Croatia seem to be one of the in-form teams in the group.

Bilic: we will do it

"We will be aggressive, but clever and patient," he said.

"I can promise that we will be the dominant team and we will look to score from the first minute, like we always do.

"I promise a good match, where we will try to do everything that people in the stadium expect of us.

"If we do that, I hope everything will turn out well for us."

Israel's outside chance

Israel themselves will be no push overs as they still have a chance of qualifying. A win in Zagreb will blow the group wide open. Israel's 3-0 defeat of England showed they were capable of playing some good football when needed. However, a highly improbable run of results could put them back in contention, but that will have to mean the likes of England and Croatia draw or lose to Estonia and Macedonia respectively.

Injuries

Croatia look to have a pretty much full side after Arsenal striker Eduardo was deemed fit for this tie. Israel on the other hand have somewhat of an injury crisis. Idan Tal, Michael Zandberg, Salim Tuama, Yaniv Katan, Roberto Colautti, Barak Yitzhaki and Itzik Azuz are all missing because of injury, while Arik Benado, Yoav Ziv and Dudu Awat are all suspended.

Croatia 2-1 Israel

It's qualification time for Croatia as an injury hit Israel travel to Zagreb - no mean feat in itself. This could and really should be a walkover, but Israel could put in a resolute performance. It won't be enough though, and Croatia will be grabbing the three points.

Prediction: 2-1 to Croatia
