Arsenal keeping tabs on Stevan Jovetic

Despite having recently signed a five year deal, Arsenal are targeting Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic in a bid to reduce the scoring pressure on van Persie.

Jovetic has been touted as one of the most promising youngsters in European football and has attracted interest from a whole host of Champions League clubs.

Fiorentina are currently struggling domestically, languishing in 13th spot in the table and it is believed that a bid of £20 million will be enough to coax the Viola to sell their prized asset.

The 21-year-old is also relishing the chance to play in the Champions League, and might thus make negotiations more straight forward.
