Palermo in for Del Piero

Palermo are weighing up a shock move for Italian international striker Alessandro Del Piero. It is believed that Brescia too are interested in the Juventus hitman.

"I would sign Del Piero tomorrow morning," Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini stressed.

"I wouldn't be able to pay his wages, but if there were sponsors who could help our door is open."
