Darren Bent won't join Newcastle

Aston Villa manager Alex Mcleish insists that striker Darren Bent will be staying at Villa Park in January, despite reports of an offer from Newcastle.

The 18m GBP man has struggled for form since arriving at Aston Villa, and talk of a swift exit has unsettled the Villains' manager.
