Bayern Munich chase Lucas Leiva

Bayern Munich have been tracking Brazil and Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, with a view to a permanent transfer. The Bavarian side are on the look out for a defensive midfielder and have decided that Lucas is the very best option available.

Liverpool's midfielder had been linked with a move away from Anfield during the summer, but instead decided to stay put and the club rejected all move talk.


However, German side Bayern could cough up as much as 12m GBP to lure Lucas to the Allianz Arena, and that would be a figure very difficult for Kenny Dalglish's side to reject.
