Man Utd players focused on providing response vs Chelsea

Manchester United players are focused on providing a strong response during Saturday's Premier League clash against Chelsea on the road, according to The Sun journalist Samuel Luckhurst.

The Red Devils have been in a dismal run of form in all competitions, and they recently went winless for the eighth straight game.

This led to speculation that Carrick could be dismissed from the helm, but the Englishman has not been sacked by the hierarchy yet.

With United's board undecided over a potential replacement, Carrick has been given more time to turn around the club's fortunes.

So Carrick will be in charge against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and a much better player response is expected this weekend.

United looked flat during the recent 3-0 loss to Bournemouth, but the players are likely to be highly motivated at the Bridge.

The Blues recently suffered a 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur, and United could seek to repeat the feat against them on Saturday.
