Aston Villa near Armin Bacinovic deal?

Aston Villa have moved a step closer to completing a move for highly rated midfielder Armin Bacinovic. Eyefootball understands that the Villains will complete a loan move for the Slovenia international, who has also been linked with Liverpool.

Bacinovic still has over four years remaining on his contract with Palermo, but his agent has revealed that he is desperate to play in the Premier League. Aston Villa have approached the Serie A side to see if they are interested in a temporary loan of the midfielder; and Bacinovic is expected for talks next week.


Bacinovic's agent said: "Everything is still open. Aston Villa are really serious, as are Chievo. We might have to wait until the last few days of the transfer window."
