Fulham eye move for Colombian star Carlos Moreno

Fulham manager Martin Jol has made a check on Valenciennes' midfielder Carlos Alberto Sanchez Moreno. The midfielder has been playing with the French side since 2007, and has been capped 25 times by his country.

Moreno is valued by the French side at around 2.5 million GBP, but his club are not willing to sell him this January as he remains an important part of the first team. Moreno has been an almost ever present for Valenciennes since he completed his move from Uruguayan side River.


Moreno has 18 months on his current contract, and so far talks have stalled with Valenciennes over a new deal.
