Bolton star Muamba thankful to docs, fans
Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba was yesterday released from hospital and paid tribute to club fans and to doctors at the London Chest Hospital.
Fabrice Muamba has made a miraculous recovery from a cardiac arrest that saw him fall to the ground at White Hart Lane against Tottenham in the Premier League.
But, thanks to the swift work of doctors, Muamba has been released from hospital just one month since his collapse.
"I am naturally very pleased to be discharged from hospital," Muamba said.
"I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to every single member of staff who played a part in my care.
"Now I am out of hospital, I am looking forward to continuing my recovery and spending precious time with my family."
