Fulham and West Ham eye Banel Nicolita move

Fulham and West Ham are both eager to bring Romanian international Banel Nicolita to England. Nicolita currently plays for French side St Etienne, but is sidelined through injury.

Nicolita has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League over the years, but so far no English side has matched his club's valuation.


However, this January might be different as Nicolita confirmed there remains long term interest in his services: “I understand there is a long-term interest.


“There are no reasons why I cannot leave and I would like to play in England.”
