Fulham to sign Aston Villa defender Warnock

Cottagers manager Martin Jol has contacted Aston Villa over a potential transfer for England international full back Stephen Warnock. Warnock has fallen out of favour at Villa Park this year.

Fulham are ready to make an offer of around 1.5 million GBP for the defender, and are hopeful that they can wrap up a move for the player.


Warnock has been dropped in recent weeks due to the emergence of young full back Matt Lowton.
