M'Vila rejects QPR and opts for Rubin move
Yann M'Vila has finally completed a transfer away from Rennes, but instead of opting for a move to the Premier League with Queens Park Rangers, has instead chosen to join Russian side Rubin Kazan.
"Stade Rennais, FC Rubin Kazan and Yann M'Vila have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of the French international. After the traditional medical visit, the Rennes midfielder joined the Russian club officially on Wednesday evening," read a statement on Rennes' website.
The French international midfielder has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Everton as well as QPR, but chose an experience in Russia instead.
