Newcastle to sign Moussa Sissoko

Newcastle are set to add yet another player to their French foreign legion, as they look set to seal a move for midfielder Moussa Sissoko from Toulouse. The highly rated defensive midfielder will sign a four year contract.

The 23-year-old French international has been compared to the likes of Claude Makelele, and has even been linked with a move to the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal.


Toulouse confirmed on their website that Sissoko is traveling to England to thrash out personal terms: "Moussa Sissoko has agreed with Newcastle United for a definitive transfer, that takes effect today.


"All the club wishes him continued success in his career."
