Holtby joins Tottenham early

Midfielder Lewis Holtby completed a move to Tottenham today. The player had been expected to move to Spurs on a free transfer in the summer, but today a fee has been agreed with the two clubs.

The Germany international will link up with his new team mates tomorrow as he flies in to London for training.


Schalke and Spurs had been battling over a transfer fee for the player and that has today been sorted.
