Chelsea close in on Alex

PSV defender Alex is moving another step closer to joining his owners Chelsea after arriving at Heathrow Airport to seal the transfer. The Brazilian defender is regarded as one of the best in the world.

Last season Alex scored the goal that knocked Arsenal out of the Champions League. Apparently, Chelsea are waiting for the Home Office to award Alex a work permit for the upcoming season. Alex will be undergoing a hearing shortly to see whether he is to receive a work permit.
