Bacary Sagna to quit Arsenal at end of year
Sagna will quit the Emirates at the end of the year after contract talks between him and his club broke down. The French full back is after a 3 year contract, but the Gunners will only offer 2 years.
Sagna has been a regular in the Arsenal squad since joining from Auxerre back in 2006, but in recent months has been regularly displaced by young talent Carl Jenkinson at right back.
The Frenchman now looks set to return to his homeland, as Monaco look set to rebuild their squad for their first season back in Ligue 1 next year.
