Sunderland star Mignolet not keen on Napoli
The agent of Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has heard the talk of a potential move for his client to Italian giants Napoli, but for the time being the shotstopper is happy at the Stadium of Light.
Napoli were amongst the teams interested in Mignolet, but Arsenal have also been interested in his services. An impressive performance against Tottenham yesterday evening did much to improve his chances of a move away to a bigger club, but the keeper is happy for the time being.
"Napoli interested in Mignolet? I have also read this news, but personally I have had no contact with Napoli or any other Italian clubs," his agent said.
"Simon has a contract for another two years with Sunderland and it's normal that clubs are interested. That is proof that he is doing well.
"However, I repeat, he has a contract with Sunderland."
